so, this could be a thing

I've been meaning to move to DW since LJ seems to be heading down a path I really don't want to follow (I'm just waiting in cringing horror for the day that the new friends page is no longer optional). I guess I should actually get into the practice of using my DW.
…"LJ" is so much easier to say than "DW" because of all the syllables. W, why you gotta let the team down.
I'm gonna start mentally pronouncing it as DeeWee.
I set up my crossposting function, so I'm not letting LJ go entirely just yet. I mean, there are so many big bangs and bingos there :< and Avengers Land.
But yeah, it's really bothered me that I've stopped actually blogging in favour of just flailing over fandom things on twitter and tumblr. As much as I enjoy doing those things, I used to chronicle my life obsessively so I could always go back and know exactly what was happening when. Basically, there's going to be a huge gap of nothing and that's a little terrifying to me.
So I will do the thing I used to do, and write about my day.
